Past Retreat and Future Survival of Albert Glacier
I presented my research on the past retreat and future survival of Albert glacier at the Western Division Canadian Association of Geographers (WDCAG) conference in March 2024. This project was for Geography 1000 but only some of us went on to present at the conference. This was my second time attending WDCAG but my first time presenting there. This project helped me understand the impact on a glaciers retreat and how their survival is so important. Focusing on sustainable practices can help slow down the retreat of glaciers to extend their lifespan.
